Empowering Nainital: A Visionary IDES Officer’s Journey to Create India’s First Constitutionally Literate Cantonment.

 Nainital Cantonment, under the dynamic leadership of IDES officer Varun Kumar, proudly became India’s first constitutionally literate cantonment. Spearheading an innovative educational initiative, Kumar empowered the local residents by introducing them to the fundamental tenets of the Indian Constitution. This transformative campaign was driven by his personal journey of preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Examination, where his deep engagement with Indian polity inspired a vision for civic empowerment in his future posting.
