Kashika Batra: Rising from Challenges to Shine on the National Basketball Stage

 At just 16, Kashika Batra’s journey from the classroom to the basketball court is nothing short of extraordinary. A student of DAV Public School, Pushpanjali Enclave, Pitampura, Kashika has emerged as an inspiring figure for young dreamers everywhere. Overcoming the hurdles of balancing academics with her passion for basketball, Kashika made a triumphant mark at the 68th National Basketball Championship held in Patiala from November 20 to 26, 2024. Representing the CBSE SWO team, she competed alongside India’s brightest young talents, etching her name among the country’s most promising players.

Kashika’s path wasn’t always smooth. Like many teenagers, she struggled to juggle her studies and extracurricular ambitions. Injuries tested her physical endurance, while moments of self-doubt challenged her mental fortitude.
